I learned these two tunes from a young travelling fiddler called Yvan Calvagnac. He is from the Département de l'Aveyron, Midi-Pyrénées, France where his mother plays traditional folk music at local events. I went and learned how to do some of the circle dances. Dancing to this music frequently would keep a person fit.
