Recorded in 2003 - this is a historical document of the Kirtan group that met regularly to chant at Auckland Yoga Academy. Kirtan is very popular in Auckland now, so this is a part of the recent history of the development of the style of devotional singing.
Co-led by musician Kāren Hunter and Yoga Teacher Jude Hynes.
